Our water feature department is lead by Bob Wambach, Wisconsin’s only Certified Professional Pond Contractor by the International Professional Pond Contractors Association. As the past President and founder of the Madison Chapter of the North American Water Garden Society, ponds have been Bob’s passion for years. From small pondless waterfalls to large scale constructed wetlands, Avant is Madison’s one-stop contractor for professional water feature design and construction.

According to a recent USA Today poll, water gardens rank as the number one item that people want to add to their yard in the next year. When you have family and friends over they will inevitably congregate around the pond. When you add a pond and waterfall to your landscape, you’re adding tranquility and relaxation. When the modern, working person comes home after a hard day on the job they’re often stressed out, agitated, and frustrated. A dose of natural tranquility, peacefulness, and relaxation is a welcome antidote to the workplace.
